We Are Hiring: Chief Operation Officer (COO)
Zyvoltis EV Ltd is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help build and scale one of Nigeria’s emerging EV charging infrastructure companies.
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for an operator who can take strategy from the boardroom and turn it into measurable execution - aligning people, processes, finance, operations, and performance as Zyvoltis moves from pre-seed execution into national expansion.
Location: Abuja, FCT
Work Model: Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 day remote
Compensation: ₦450,000 - ₦550,000/month + 3% Equity
Experience: 7+ years in operations leadership, including 3+ years in senior management or C-suite roles
You will work directly with the CEO to:
- Translate company strategy into quarterly and annual execution plans
- Lead operational planning, OKRs and company-wide performance management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across business functions
- Provide direct operational oversight of HR and Finance
- Establish KPIs, dashboards and accountability systems
- Manage budgets, operating expenses and capital deployment
- Ensure operational and regulatory compliance
- Build a high-performance team and company culture
- Represent Zyvoltis with investors, regulators and strategic partners
- Step in as Acting CEO when required
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience
- At least 3 years in a senior management or C-suite role
- Proven experience turning strategy into measurable execution
- Experience overseeing HR, finance, budgeting and management reporting
- Strong KPI, data and performance-management capabilities
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in infrastructure, clean energy, mobility or technology is an advantage
Zyvoltis is building a scalable EV charging network across Nigeria, beginning in Abuja and expanding into other major commercial markets. Our model combines charging infrastructure, technology, and a zero-CAPEX host deployment strategy.
