Product Engineer
Company Description
ZYD Energy, Inc. (https://www.locus-integration.com/) is an innovative start-up delivering advanced solutions for building decarbonization. We develop intelligent control and optimization solutions that make water heating systems smarter, cleaner, and grid-interactive. Our technology development has been supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and the California Energy Commission, reflecting our commitment to innovation and scalable climate solutions. We are currently transitioning from R&D to commercial deployment.
Water heating is one of the largest energy loads in buildings—and a major source of emissions. Our platform integrates heat pump water heaters with thermal energy storage through advanced controls, real-time monitoring, and energy management algorithms. The result: lower energy costs, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and enhanced grid reliability.
In addition to advanced control solutions, our platform provides performance monitoring and fault detection through intelligent data analytics. These capabilities enable long-term system performance tracking, diagnostics, and continuous optimization services, extending value beyond initial deployment and supporting sustained operational efficiency.
