We’re growing our climate change team and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to take up the role of a consultant, with a focus on climate change mitigation and carbon foot printing.

Role responsibilities:

  • Compiling greenhouse gas inventories and carbon footprints
  • Identifying, screening, modelling and costing climate change mitigation measures
  • Developing and supporting the implementation of Net-Zero carbon or climate change mitigation strategies, policies and action plans (including target-setting, developing MACCs, Cost-benefit analysis)
  • Undertaking climate change risk assessments
  • Developing and implementing climate change MRV and carbon footprint systems
  • Supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement (including through NDC revision and biennial transparency reporting)


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in climate change, chemical engineering, environmental management or equivalent (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)
  • At least 4 years’ experience in climate change mitigation, GHG inventories and carbon foot printing
  • Basic knowledge of international climate reporting frameworks (e.g TCFD, IFRS S2, UNFCCC MRV framework, Paris Agreement ETF, King IV or IFC Performance Standards)
  • Understanding of national and international climate change laws, regulations, conventions and agreements
  • Must be technically competent and comfortable with MS: Excel and mathematical equations.
  • Added advantage: Experience with climate finance or climate change adaptation will be an added advantage
