Role Description
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our growing UK commercial team. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers, helping us identify new opportunities, spark meaningful conversations, and contribute to Zevero’s growth. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in sales.
The SDR will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, qualifying sales leads, and supporting the sales team with strategic outreach. The role also involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating Zevero's solutions to drive interest and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers within our target markets.
- Engage with prospects through email, LinkedIn, and calls to book meetings for our Account Executives.
- Qualify outbound leads against our Ideal Customer Profile.
- Assist in crafting personalised outreach campaigns with relevant sustainability insights.
- Attend team meetings, share learnings, and contribute ideas to improve outbound prospecting.
- Update CRM to keep track of deals created.
What We’re Looking For
- Based in London and can be in the office 2/3 days a week.
- Passion for sustainability, climate tech, and making a difference.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self starter. Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, calling for professional outreach.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Previous sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential).
- Comfortable with being set and striving to hit targets.
