Construction Foreman

divh2Foreman Position/h2pWe are looking for experienced Foremen for several jobs in CA. Job tasks include the following:/pulliManage a crew of 5 10 workers;/liliRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics/ electrical code specifications to determine layout of equipment installations/liliSupervise and manage trenching for utility conduits, directing operators on backhoes, backfilling and underground scanning/liliSupervise and manage pouring and finishing concrete pads for switchgear, Electrical Chargers, Bollards, directing paving, and overhead EMT conduit placement/liliSupervise and manage Electrical resources on the job/liliArrange and coordinate safety meetings;/liliDelegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members;/liliBe the point of contact with the employers site superintendent;/liliSupervise and train apprentices on the job, as required;/liliMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor;/liliControlling inventory on truck, job-site, and in/out of stock (for active jobs);/liliOrganize and maintain material lists for your crew;/liliGathering required material;/liliResponsible for maintaining company tools;/liliInspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean;/liliWork with building principals and supervisors to complete projects;/liliRespond to emergency calls as needed;/liliUpdating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties./liliCommunicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times./liliTake AHJ inspections and follow up with the utilities./li/ulpSecondary functions include:/pulliInterpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens to others, is proactive in resolving issues./liliWritten Communication - Write clearly and informatively; conscious of audience and varies writing style accordingly, able to read and interpret written requirements./liliContributes to building a positive team spirit/liliTime Management: Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently/liliProfessionalism At all times/li/ulpWhat we Offer:/pulliSalaried position/liliUp to Two weeks of PTO/liliMedical and Dental/liliCompany Truck with company credit card/liliAt least two crews with one foreman each/liliRoom for growth/li/ulpZero Impact Builders is an equal-opportunity employer.
