(Volunteer) Sustainability Quiz Designer
About Us:
We are a forward-thinking NGO startup leveraging technology to create a gamified and fully transparent crowdfunding platform. Our projects address a wide range of social and environmental challenges, from providing essential services to underprivileged communities to environmental conservation efforts. Our aim is to build a global network of supporters dedicated to making a significant impact through education, engagement, and action. We believe that learning should be interactive, empowering, and motivating, not overwhelming or preachy.
To support this mission, we are building a gamified learning experience on our website — and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring it to life.
Are you passionate about sustainability, climate action, and environmental education? Do you enjoy writing clear, engaging content? Our NGO is looking for volunteers to help create short, fun quizzes for a digital learning platform’s gamification features.
The Role:
As a Sustainability Quiz Designer, you’ll help design short, engaging quizzes that turn climate and sustainability knowledge into interactive learning moments.
Your work will directly support our gamification platform, helping users:
- test their knowledge,
- learn practical climate concepts,
- and feel motivated to take real-world action.
What You’ll Do:
- Write sustainability-focused quiz questions (multiple choice, true/false, scenario-based)
- Research and translate climate topics into clear, accessible language
- Propose quiz themes such as:
climate change basics
carbon footprints
energy & renewables
sustainable food & consumption
climate myths vs facts
personal & community climate action
- Collaborate with our team to ensure accuracy and tone
- Optionally suggest gamification elements (badges, levels, challenges)
Who We’re Looking For:
You might be a great fit if you are:
- Passionate about climate, sustainability, or environmental education
- A strong communicator who enjoys explaining complex ideas simply
- Interested in learning design, gamification, or ed-tech
- A student, educator, writer, researcher, UX/content designer, or sustainability professional
- No formal credentials/coding experience required, you can write in English or Portuguese or both — curiosity and clarity matter most.
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Background in sustainability, ESG, environmental science, or education
- Experience with quizzes, teaching, training, or content writing
- Interest in behavior change, climate psychology, or digital learning
