YourGreeners is a sustainability-focused startup building algae-based air and water purification systems and nature-driven climate technologies. We are looking for an IoT Engineer to design, build, and deploy the connected intelligence behind our purifier systems.


Role: IoT Engineer


Location: Remote / Hybrid (India preferred)

Type: Full-time / Contract (convertible)

Stage: Early–Growth ClimateTech Startup


What you will work on


  • IoT systems for algae-based purifier units
  • Real-time monitoring of air and water quality parameters
  • Sensor integration, data pipelines, and dashboards
  • Smart automation and remote device management

    • Key responsibilities


    IoT system design and development

    • Design end-to-end IoT architecture (device to cloud to dashboard)
    • Select and integrate sensors (CO₂, PM2.5, pH, turbidity, temperature, etc.)
    • Develop firmware for microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
    • Implement secure device communication (MQTT, HTTP, LoRa, NB-IoT)

    Data and cloud integration

    • Build real-time and historical data ingestion pipelines
    • Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or open-source stacks)
    • Create dashboards for monitoring purifier performance and health
    • Enable alerts, thresholds, and remote diagnostics

    Productization and deployment

    • Support pilot deployments and field testing
    • Optimize for power efficiency, reliability, and scalability
    • Collaborate with product, hardware, and operations teams
    • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs

    What we are looking for

    • 1–4 years of experience in IoT or embedded systems
    • Hands-on experience with sensors, microcontrollers, and firmware
    • Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE, LoRa, HTTP)
    • Experience with cloud platforms and data visualization
    • Interest in sustainability or climate-tech products

    Good to have

    • Experience with environmental monitoring systems
    • Knowledge of edge computing or AI on edge
    • Hardware prototyping and field deployment experience
    • Startup or early-stage product exposure
