About the Position

Novenco is a leading provider of energyefficient ventilation and cooling solutions for data centers. We are seeking a Business Development Director to drive growth in North America and shape the future of cooling for hyperscale facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth with existing hyperscale data center customers in Canada and the United States, focusing on longterm partnerships and new opportunities.
  • Forge strong relationships in the data center market, leveraging expertise and network to ignite initial sales and accelerate revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Global Data Center Sales to develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the U.S. and global hyperscale segments.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a national sales and technical support team in the shortto midterm.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets based on key performance metrics.
  • Engage with rep firms, consultants, OEMs, endusers, and contractors to promote Novencos solutions.
  • Represent Novenco at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate closely with HQs Sales Engineers to deliver customized technical solutions.
  • Stay uptodate on industry news, trends, and the latest productline developments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 510+ years experience in the HVAC industry with a solid understanding of data center technologies.
  • Background selling data center cooling solutions (preferred).
  • Strong network in the data center industry (preferred).
  • 2+ years in a team leadership position managing sales engineers or application engineers.
  • 810 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management.
  • Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and achieving ambitious sales targets.
