Junior solar PV desiger

Role Description The Junior Solar PV Designer will support the design and planning of rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing layout drawings, calculating system sizing, assisting with shading analysis, and helping to optimize system performance based on site conditions. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to review technical specifications, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure that designs comply with relevant standards and local regulations. The Junior Solar PV Designer will also assist in preparing technical documentation and basic cost estimates for proposals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electrical or renewable energy concepts and basic understanding of solar PV systems.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and layouts, preferably using CAD or similar design tools.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills for system sizing, energy yield estimates, and basic performance calculations.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to follow design standards, guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
• Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and processes, and build expertise in solar PV design.
• Prior internship or project experience in solar or electrical design is an advantage but not required.
