As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team on-site in Mesa, Arizona.
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Program Manager – HVAC Systems is responsible for leading complex cross‑functional programs related to the development, industrialization, and production launch of large commercial HVAC equipment.
This role requires a strong technical foundation in mechanical systems and HVAC equipment, combined with disciplined program management to ensure alignment between engineering development, manufacturing readiness, and operational execution. The successful candidate will serve as a key integrator across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to deliver products that meet performance, reliability, cost, and schedule targets.
The role is comparable to technical program leadership positions in the automotive and aerospace industries, where program managers combine engineering expertise with execution leadership to bring complex electromechanical systems into production.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Program Leadership
• Lead cross-functional programs related to new HVAC product development, engineering changes, and production readiness.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules covering engineering, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain activities.
• Drive program execution from concept through production launch and ramp‑up.
• Ensure alignment between product development milestones and factory readiness plans.
Product Development Integration
• Coordinate engineering activities across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and production.
• Ensure design decisions consider performance, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.
• Work closely with engineering teams to identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development process.
Manufacturing & Production Readiness
• Collaborate with production engineering and operations to ensure designs are aligned with manufacturing processes and assembly flow.
• Support development of production testing processes, assembly procedures, and validation plans.
• Ensure successful product industrialization and factory ramp‑up.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
• Act as the primary coordination point across Product Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality & Reliability, Test & Validation, and Operations.
• Ensure clear ownership of deliverables and alignment across stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
Risk & Issue Management
• Identify program risks related to design maturity, supply chain readiness, production capability, and schedule execution.
• Lead structured problem-solving and escalation processes to maintain program progress.
Program Governance
• Provide clear program status reporting to engineering leadership.
• Support executive program reviews and cross‑functional alignment meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7-10 years of experience in engineering, product development, or technical program management.
• Experience delivering complex electromechanical products from development into production.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Experience in industries with complex product development and manufacturing environments such as commercial HVAC equipment, automotive manufacturing, or aerospace systems.
Technical Knowledge:
Knowledgeable in commercial HVAC systems, mechanical and refrigeration systems, manufacturing and assembly processes, product development lifecycle, design release processes, and production testing and validation processes.
