As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a highly capable Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team onsite in Mesa, Arizona and support the development, implementation, and optimization of and manufacturing and assembly across our custom HVAC and thermal systems operations.


An overview of your responsibilities!


  • Develop, implement, and optimize robust assembly processes for new and existing products.
  • Select and implement tooling and equipment for new processes, including cranes, hoists, carts, fixtures, lifting devices, etc.
  • Define and specify assembly processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions for new product introductions (NPI).
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Support process validation, equipment commissioning, and production ramp-up to ensure smooth launch and handover to production teams.
  • Design and optimize facility layouts, workstations, and material flow for safe, efficient, and lean operations across the production floor.
  • Collaborate with Design and R&D teams to improve manufacturability, cost, and quality.


What you'll need, among other things!


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Advanced Manufacturing, preferably in complex, custom, or high-precision environments (e.g., HVAC, automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to fast-paced, changing priorities in a growing organization.
  • Desire to work hands-on with production teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design/simulation tools; familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 concepts is a plus.
