Position Overview:
At XNRGY, Field Service Technicians play a critical role in delivering high‑performance HVAC solutions to some of the most demanding data centers and industrial environments in North America. As part of our growing Service organization, you will be at the center of post‑production operations, bringing precision, technical expertise, and customer‑focused execution to every project.
Our Service Technicians support three essential phases of the unit lifecycle:
- Rework & Completion – ensuring units arriving from the factory or through logistics handling are fully ready for field deployment
- Start‑Up & Commissioning – performing the functional, electrical, mechanical, and controls verification required for equipment launch (L2–L5)
- Service After Commissioning – supporting customers with warranty repairs, field troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical guidance.
Across all levels, this is a hands-on field role requiring strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work efficiently at customer sites. You will collaborate closely with our Project Managers, Service Coordinators, QHSE team, and a dedicated Workforce Management function that supports training, competency development, and deployment.

The Sr. Field Service Technician is the senior field technical lead responsible for complex execution across all buckets, with mastery of L4–L5 commissioning. Must support both CRAH & Chiller.

- Hard-line: Senior Service Workforce Manger
- Dotted line: Field Service Project Lead/Manger
Key Responsibilities:
Rework & Completion
- Scope and plan complex rework
- Supervise S1/S2 and external contractors
- Provide structured feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing
Start-Up & Commissioning
- Lead L2–L5 commissioning
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Oversee customer handover
- Mentor
S1/S2Service After Commissioning
- Handle complex escalations
- Conduct detailed RCA
- Support service parts identification and customer advisory
Leadership Responsibilities:
- On-site leadership
- Ensure safety compliance
- Support PM/Lead with readiness
Qualifications:
- 6–10+ years HVAC field experience
- EPA 608 Universal
- OSHA 30Advanced controls troubleshooting
- Ability to meet extensive travel requirements, including a two‑week deployment followed by one week off rotation
- Flexibility to support extended work schedules while at customer locations, based on project needs
