As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a highly experienced MBOM Analyst to join our team on-site in Mesa, Arizona. Reporting to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to ensure accurate, efficient, and high quality production processes. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and shop floor operations. In addition to managing MBOM data, the specialist executes engineering changes directly on the shop floor, ensuring that updates are implemented correctly, safely, and with minimal disruption to production.
An overview of your responsibilities!
- Develop, structure, and release Manufacturing Bills of Materials based on engineering design data, product configurations, and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain MBOM accuracy throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with EBOM, routing, and process documentation.
- Understand engineering drawings, CAD models, and change notices to translate design intent into manufacturable structure.
- Validate BOM completeness, accuracy, and manufacturability before release.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve EBOM to MBOM discrepancies.
- Review, interpret, and coordinate implementation of changes on the shop floor ensuring correct material usage, process updates, and documentation release.
- Communicate changes to cross functional teams.
What you'll need, among other things!
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience in Manufacturing Change Management.
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing environment directly involved in change management implementation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly methods.
- Proficiency with PLM/ERP systems and engineering documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
Do you have other qualifications? Tell us what makes you unique — Perhaps you’ve built MBOM processes from scratch, championed standardization or implemented real-time accuracy dashboards — that would be a great addition to our team.
Does this sound like you? We look forward to receiving your application!
