Engineering Technician

As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to join its team, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.
An overview of your responsibilities:
This Technician position will require a hands-on individual that can work with manufacturing and production team to evaluate, implement, develop, and maintain solutions to complex manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to develop accurate manufacturing work instructions per manufacturing engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with design, Safety, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure instructions reflect current processes and standards.
- Identify and document assembly sequences, tooling requirements, and quality checkpoints.
- Assist in updating and maintaining documentation for engineering changes and process improvements.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)/work instructions/Method drawings for fabrication and assembly operations.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with XNRGY’s quality and safety standards.
- Provide feedback to engineers on potential design-for-manufacturing improvements based on Lean Manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical documentation role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings (SolidWorks experience a plus). Also add AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced production environment.
