Who are we?

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment, thermal management, and liquid cooling systems. We focus on high-performance solutions for data centers, healthcare, clean rooms, life sciences, and other mission-critical environments, driving innovation to reduce carbon footprints and support goals like Net Zero and LEED certification.

We are thrilled to operate our cutting-edge U.S. Technology headquarters and manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona (opened in 2025), reflecting our rapid growth and commitment to sustainable climate solutions.

As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a highly experienced EBOM Analyst to join our team on-site in Mesa, Arizona. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) to ensure accurate, efficient, and high quality engineering processes.

Job Summary

As an EBOM Analyst, you will play a key role in the engineering phase of our product lifecycle, ensuring the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) accurately reflects design intent for our custom-engineered thermal management systems. You'll maintain data integrity in our PLM system, support CAD integrations, process engineering changes, and collaborate closely with design engineers to bridge the gap between concept and manufacturable products. This position is critical during our U.S. growth phase, as we scale production of complex, sustainable HVAC and cooling solutions.

This role focuses on the "as-designed" EBOM in PLM with limited direct ERP involvement at present—though familiarity with future ERP transitions is a plus, as the company plans to implement ERP soon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, structure, maintain, and release EBOMs in the PLM system based on engineering designs, CAD assemblies, and product specifications for custom air handlers, liquid cooling platforms, and related systems.
  • Support CAD-PLM integrations (e.g., pulling BOM structures, attributes, revisions, and files from tools like Creo, SolidWorks, Catia, or similar into PLM).
  • Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs/ECNs): Review, implement, and validate design changes while ensuring BOM accuracy, compliance, and minimal impact on downstream processes.
  • Audit and validate EBOM completeness, hierarchy, part attributes (e.g., part numbers, descriptions, materials, tolerances), and alignment with engineering drawings/models.
  • Collaborate with design/engineering teams to resolve discrepancies, interpret CAD data, and ensure design intent is captured accurately.
  • Maintain version/revision control and traceability for parts, subassemblies, and configurations in PLM.
  • Support prototype builds, new product introductions (NPI), and pre-production validation by providing accurate EBOM data.
  • Assist in cross-functional coordination (e.g., with manufacturing for future MBOM handoffs) and contribute to process improvements in PLM/BOM workflows.
  • Participate in data migration/cleanup as systems evolve (including potential future ERP integration).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 3–7+ years in a product engineering or PLM/BOM-focused role, preferably in manufacturing of complex engineered products (e.g., HVAC, industrial machinery, aerospace, automotive, or data center equipment).
  • Hands-on experience maintaining EBOMs in a PLM system (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE, Agile, Aras, or similar).
  • Strong familiarity with CAD tools and integrations (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, NX, Catia) – ability to read/interpret drawings, assemblies, and BOM extractions.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of BOM structures (multi-level, modular, configurable) and engineering change management processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail for data accuracy and validation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/advanced data tools for BOM analysis/audits.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
