Environmental Law Leader

As our new Environmental Law Leader, you'll champion pioneering nature and climate legislation, forge legal strategies that safeguard ecosystems and protects natural habitats against serious threats, amplify the rights of all citizens to a healthy environment, transparency and accountability, and shape Greece’s environmental laws for a sustainable future.
Your impact:
- Spearhead high-stakes litigation on projects and plans harming nature and climate under EU directives and national law.
- Forge alliances with NGOs, scientists, and policymakers to influence net-zero strategies and environmental justice.
- Empower teams through training, reports, and advocacy that drive real change—from courtroom wins to public mobilization.
Who we're seeking:
Passionate legal expert with postgraduate degree and 5+ years in environmental law, fluent in Greek and English, versed in EU frameworks (e.g., Aarhus Convention, Habitats Directive). Proven track record in policy analysis, strategic litigation, and stakeholder engagement. Bonus: Experience in the legal framework of Greek energy transitions or climate adaptation.
