What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Project Manager within our Power & Energy Project Delivery team, you will support and drive end‑to‑end delivery of transmission, substation, renewable and generation projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support end‑to‑end project delivery and engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (PMPs, risk registers, HSE plans).
- Assist with project setup, budgeting and financial tracking in ERP systems.
- Monitor progress, update budgets, forecast costs and analyse variances.
- Support monthly invoicing, purchase orders and creditor approvals.
- Coordinate with the Project Finance Specialist on budgets and WBS updates.
- Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with milestones.
- Manage project changes, variations and supporting documentation.
- Assist with mobilisation, travel logistics and document control.
- Prepare health & safety documents, proposals and ad‑hoc project materials.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as a project representative.
- Organise meetings, take minutes and track action items.

You’ll Bring
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and project controls.
- Previous experience in a project management environment (Power & Energy or Mining/Industrial environments highly advantageous).
- Ability to build strong client relationships and communicate effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, ProjectWise, etc.).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage priorities and support multiple Project Managers.
