Job Highlight

WRI India’s flagship event - Connect Karo 2026 is scheduled for September 10-11. As a Communications Consultant, you will provide strategic leadership for WRI India’s media engagement and public positioning. The role requires deep understanding of the Indian media landscape and a stronger editorial judgment. This position includes day-to-day media management to strengthen WRI India’s presence as a trusted voice on climate, cities, clean energy transition and sustainable development.


Professional Qualifications & Experience

Master's degree in communications or a relevant field

Minimum 10+ years in media relations or strategic communications

Candidates with experience in working with public relations will be preferred

Candidates experienced in working with think tanks and organizations specializing in climate change will be preferred


The Team Skills We Seek

Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Strong communication skills, including written and oral communications.

Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple team members.

An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.


Salary and Benefits:

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills.


Location: Delhi (non-negotiable)

Duration: 2 months
