Investment Manager
Worldview International Foundation (WIF) is seeking a results-driven and proactive leader to join our global commercial team as Investment Manager.
In this role, you will play a critical part in securing capital for our blue carbon portfolio by identifying, qualifying, and engaging investors, while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
You will manage the investment strategy and due diligence process, work closely with our full-cycle project and technical teams to ensure investment readiness, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver funding for mangrove restoration and other climate impact initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Capital Raising & Investment Management
Lead the investor outreach process: identify, evaluate and qualify prospective investors aligned with WIF’s mission and project pipeline.
Manage the full due diligence cycle: coordinate investor Q&A, prepare and maintain data rooms and respond to information requests.
Develop and present investment proposals, pitch decks and financial models to secure funding for new and existing projects.
Negotiate investment terms, support contract development and manage deal closure alongside the commercial team.
Investor Account Management
Act as the main point of contact for new and existing investors, providing regular updates, impact reports and project performance insights.
Organize investor meetings, presentations and site visits to strengthen relationships and build trust.
Maintain and update investor CRM and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
Investment Readiness & Pipeline Support
Work closely with the Project Development and Carbon teams to ensure projects meet investor requirements, with clear documentation of land tenure, carbon rights and due diligence materials.
Provide strategic input during the project feasibility and design stages to align new projects with market and investor expectations.
Monitor market trends, investor priorities and emerging policy updates to identify new funding opportunities and guide our investment strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Experience:
3-5 years in investment management, finance or related roles within the carbon markets, sustainability or environmental sectors. Exposure to full cycle carbon projects highly regarded.
Financial and Legal Acumen:
Strong analytical skills, experience with financial modelling and the ability to assess and present complex investment cases.
Relationship Management:
Proven track record of building and managing long term investor relationships.
Sales & Business Development:
Comfortable driving outreach and onboarding new investors, with an understanding of deal structuring, risk mitigation and closing.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of conveying technical project details clearly to diverse audiences.
Organized & Proactive:
Self-starter with strong project management abilities and attention to detail to keep complex deals moving.
