Support Officer

Job description
This is a UK based contract and as such, you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Evidence of your Right to Work will be checked prior to interview.

This is a 8 Month Fixed Term Contract

It is not every day you get the chance to use your administrative skills to help save the world. That is what you could be doing as an Administrator in the Admin Hub at WWF UK. Our vital work and many successes are possible by having great people on board. Why not join the team and play your part in providing high quality admin and logistical support to key departments within WWF UK and ensuring they run smoothly.

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting one or more Directors and their teams as well as key departments. You will use your expertise proactively managing Director diaries and as well as helping with financial processing through our purchasing system. You will assist with logistical event management and organising travel arrangements, including trips overseas too. You will also support internal and external relationships on behalf of Directors.

To get involved in saving our planet, you must have extensive administration experience and be comfortable using relevant in-house/custom systems or databases. Good at prioritising your day, you will enjoy teamworking and will have a flexible attitude. A good communicator, you will have an eye for detail and be the sort of person who is happy to use their initiative to get things done. You will also possess strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

If you have great admin experience and want to help create a world where people and nature can thrive, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link and complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV and complete the Supporting Statement highlighting why you are interested in this role as well as why this role is for you.

Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you. Here at WWF, we are committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose. We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
