Events Fundraising Intern

Job description
If you are passionate about the future of our planet and want to use your skills to make a difference to the future of our world, this Events Fundraising Intern role with world’s largest independent conservation organisation is for you.

As a member of our Community Fundraising & Events team you will support our work across fundraising activities and gain valuable experience across multiple fundraising events. Your primary focus will be assisting with our Facebook challenge series, where you will handle supporter enquiries across a range of channels offering advice and support and providing materials. You will create content for our website, newsletters, and social media channels as well as help to promote events. You will identify new ways to publicise our events too. You will also research opportunities and work with internal and external audiences to advertise and encourage involvement in our Autumn fundraising activities, including sports events and much more.

For this role, you will demonstrate an interest in events fundraising and a desire to learn more. Highly organised and good at planning and meeting deadlines, you will also possess strong communications and MSOffice skills as well as an eye for detail. You will be happy working alone and as part of a team too.

If you are super excited and passionate about gaining valuable work experience in a major international NGO we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with supporting statement highlighting your interest in the role.

Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you. Here at WWF, we are committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose. We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.
Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.
Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
