WWF-HK is looking for Part-Time Visitor Experience Officer, reporting to Centre Manager, who will be providing excellent front of house and back of house visitor services at the WWF Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre and outdoor events with a focus on promoting marine conservation and education.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Customer focused - Front of house
- Coordinate the bookings system for upcoming events and ensure all facilities and services are available as scheduled.
- Meet and greet visitors, proactively engage with them by introducing the WWF brand, products, and services, including eco-tours, public events, and different activities across all centres.
- Prepare eco-tour for walk-in visitors and conduct post-tour follow-up with visitor for feedback and promote other WWF activities and products.
- Responsible for daily operations of Panda shop, including the Point-of-Sales system (POS) and inventory system to maintain accurate retail and inventory records.
- Support Centre Manager to handle with memberships, subscriptions, enquiries, feedback, and visitor complaints.
Quality of service / Administration - Back of house
- Responsible for centre opening and closing, ensuring the premises are secure and safe.
- Responsible for room, venue, and catering setting before events and clean up after events.
- Support the Centre Manager to assess health and safety and the cleanliness of premises.
- Perform regular inspections of premises and equipment for preventative measure and formulate action to maintain the premises, machines, and other equipment in good condition.
- Ensure proper storage of workshop materials and operation materials and equipment.
- Support WWF activities and other ad-hoc duties as required.
- On-shift working arrangement to support duty on weekends and public holiday.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of higher diploma in hospitality or customer service-related discipline.
- Minimum one year of working experience in retail, administration, customer service, or event operations.
- Experience in using a POS system is preferred.
- Experience in coordinating visitor tours or group activities is preferred.
- Excellent language skills in both English & Chinese and communication skills, to enable effective communication with visitors and clear and concise information.
- Good problem solving skill and strong customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and meet visitors' needs, provide appropriate solutions and deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
- Ensure that the visitor experience is enjoyable.
- Ability to adapt changes and experience in crisis management.
- A responsible, proactive person with a pleasant and outgoing personality
- A team player with good organizing and interpersonal skills.
