Position Title: Project Co-ordinator, Earth Hour Movement & B2B Marketing
Reports to: Manager, B2B Marketing and External Relations

Since its launch in 2007, Earth Hour has grown into one of the world’s largest grassroots environmental movements – giving people a powerful voice on climate and nature loss crises and highlighting the need for unified action.
Earth Hour in Singapore
In Singapore, Earth Hour has been celebrated physically and digitally over the years.
Earth Hour 2023 will see an ambitious effort spread over 6-months, including two major events and many roadshows and weekly activities, to move decidedly from advocacy to action.
Earth Hour and Kosong Plan (personal Net Zero plan) bring individuals, schools, businesses and the government together to build a low-carbon, climate resilient nation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking to award a 1-year contract to cover two important initiatives.
First, a core focus will be to manage and deliver critical parts of the Earth Hour Movement, which entails a series of events and activities over a 6-months period.
The key deliverables will include:
- Project & Event management
- Digital marketing and Communications management
- Sponsorship solicitation
- Timeline management and coordination
Success of the project will depend upon the resourcefulness and commitment of the contracted individual/sole proprietorship to deliver on the critical aspects together with the members of the wider project team.
Second, the contract person will also support B2B marketing efforts and storytelling. It will include, but not be limited to, social media marketing, content creation, managing key partners, etc.
Required Qualification and Competencies:
- Experience in events and operations management.
- Well versed in marketing communications (eg. LinkedIn & Canva).
- Presentation skills for partnership solicitation and management.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills ensuring timely implementation.
- Project management skills including mapping details.
- Eye for detail with personal set standards for quality work and execution.
- Familiarity with local event management and experience working with communities in Singapore will be an advantage.
