Description of the role

We are seeking a creative and talented Digital Content Executive, that can perform duties as a social media community manager as well, to join our Fundraising & Marketing team at WWF. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and curating compelling content to engage our online audience and manage our social media platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and fundraising. You should have excellent storytelling, copywriting and graphic design skills and be able to create and design marketing and communication collaterals, write clearly, tell stories and engage a diverse audience with different messages and stories for different channels and mediums. At the same time, you should understand online and offline marketing initiatives and strategies across multiple platforms and formats and you will be required to be able to market across various channels. Your time will mainly be spent creating content that is compelling and engaging (visual and writing), but you will also participate actively in the planning, development and execution of our individual digital fundraising and marketing campaigns.


Some of the meaningful work you will perform:

  • Brainstorm and co-conceptualise the content strategy, narrative, and tone of digital
campaigns (fundraising campaigns, marketing campaigns and/or lead generation campaigns)
and assist with the creation of the visual and copywriting content associated with it.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content (including photos, videos, graphics, and
written content) for our website, blog, social media and digital channels.
  • Manage social media campaigns and posts, monitor and respond to comments and
messages, and engage with our online community.
  • Develop and write content to support all phases of the lead and supporter journey and fuel
donations and engagement; this may include but is not limited to producing content for digital
ads, emails and e-newsletters, videos and marketing collaterals.
  • Co-lead website design and website content creation.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to develop content that aligns with WWF’s
mission and supports our fundraising and engagement goals.
  • Utilise data-driven marketing such as A/B tests, research, analysis and statistics to support
the strategy of content campaigns.
  • Provide support to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive in running digital performance
campaigns when necessary.
  • Identify content trends and gaps to recommend creative stories and angles. Proactively
suggest improvements to campaigns, A/B testing and optimise content on all fundraising


  • Open to fresh-graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of experience
  • Minimum diploma in media, communications, design, marketing or similar
  • Strong visual design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Understanding of social media analytics and experience with social media management and
analytics tools.
  • Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
  • Have an eye for detail and design
  • Demonstrate knowledge in social and digital communication and marketing (evidence of
social media content creation, email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, or others materials
will be required)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CMS tools is a plus
  • Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability and/or experience working with
NGO or social sector is a plus
