WWF-Viet Nam, USAID Biodiversity Conservation would like to invite non-governmental organizations, research institutions, community groups, minority people’s organizations, women’s groups, and other civil society organizations for projects that address the conservation of biodiversity in the seven 21 protected areas and protected forests that meet the criteria set out in this call.

The Species Conservation Fund (SCF) is part of the USAID Biodiversity Conservation project and was initiated by WWF-Vietnam and our partners to strengthen the biodiversity conservation of Vietnam through the participation of grassroots organizations. Specifically, this funding scheme will create an opportunity for local NGOs, and research organizations to conduct activities that contribute to conserving priority species in the field. With this grant program, local organizations will conduct projects from one to two years to strengthen their capabilities. This opportunity will enable these organizations to contribute to the conservation of globally threatened species.

The objective of the activity: A fundamental goal is to ensure civil society is engaged in the conservation of species in protected areas and the protection of forests in target provinces.

Who can apply: This call is open to local organizations in Viet Nam. Individuals wishing to apply must work with civil society organizations to develop applications, rather than apply directly.
