To strengthen our department Markets and Corporate Engagement, subject area International Economy Unit in Berlin, we are looking for a qualified person by the date 01.06.2022 for a limited time span of two years for part time employment (32h) for the following position:


Manager (m/f/d) Sustainable Economies - Project Development

Your responsibilities:

  • development of projects and project modules within WWF’s conservation and transformation programs and initiatives
  • shape fundraising concepts and content to support these projects and programs (including grant-writing and guiding PSP application processes)
  • close collaboration with the WWF network, especially the partnership and fundraising communities, conservation and business experts, and the Global Practices on content and proposal development and administrative and approval processes
  • comprehensive understanding and excellent command of the project and administrative processes of WWF Germany and WWF International
  • steering of relationship management and co-development with public and private donors, consortia and implementing organisations
  • preparation of communication, sales and presentation materials
  • organisation of internal and external collaboration and co-development platforms
  • technical advice to the IEU management
  • representation of WWF Germany and WWF International in public presentations and vis-à-vis international, market-relevant organisations

Your requirements:

  • an university degree in Economy, Business, Sustainable Development or related field
  • minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in project development and fundraising (including excellent skills in grant-writing and application processes)
  • experience in the coordination and programmatic work of international organisations and with the public and the private sector in a commercial or NGO setting
  • proven track record of managing internal and external multi-cultural stakeholders to influence and drive change
  • sound knowledge and practical experience in inter- and transdisciplinary projects
  • fluent German and English
