Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for a Director of Lumber Supply Chain. The Director will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain process for the Paulownia timber production. Key responsibilities include developing and executing production plans, managing procurement strategies, monitoring supply chain operations, and ensuring efficiency across all aspects of the timber lifecycle. Collaboration with farmers, investors, and other stakeholders will be essential to drive success and achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Operations to ensure seamless coordination and optimization of processes.
- Proficiency in Production Planning and Procurement for lumber and timber-related activities.
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess data, forecast supply needs, and make informed operational decisions.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities to manage teams and tackle challenges in a dynamic work environment.
- Adaptability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Experience in the forestry or timber industry is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain or logistics are advantageous.
