At WRI India Ross Center we focus on 10 integrated solutions to urban challenges. Through applied research, tools, hands-on advice, and by tapping our network of global experts, we accelerate transformative urban initiatives that have the power to change Indian cities into thriving, equitable and low-carbon places that are good for people and the planet.

About your role:
WRI India is seeking an Intern for the Infrastructure Finance lab work housed in the Urban Development work under the Cities Program in India. With his/her knowledge of investment and finance, particularly in the context of the infrastructure and municipal financing landscape in India the Intern will support the vision of WRI to enable sustainable financing models for resilient urban infrastructure.

Through applied research, tools, hands-on advice, and by tapping our network of global experts, we accelerate transformative urban initiatives that have the power to change Indian cities into thriving, equitable and low-carbon places that are good for people and the planet.
How your day will unfold:

Stipend: 25000 Per Month
Location: Mumbai/ Bangalore/ Delhi, India

How your day will unfold:
The Intern, Financing Green Infrastructure Lab will undertake the following:
Infrastructure Investment Landscape
- Desk-based research of available investment and financing options for infrastructure projects
- Literature review of innovative alternative infrastructure financing options
- Mapping key institutional stakeholders across the infrastructure investment and finance ecosystem
- Conduct primary research by surveying stakeholders across the infrastructure investment and finance ecosystem
Qualifications and Requirements we seek:
- Post graduation in either economics, finance, business or related field
- 12 months work experience
- Good working knowledge in quantitative and qualitative data analysis is a requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a requirement.
- Strong research, written and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Familiarity with public policy, urban planning, infrastructure financing is highly recommended.
Stipend: 25000 Per Month
