The successful candidate for our Real Estate and Workplace Facilities internship will gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams from all working functions in the company production, engineering, battery, flight op and population as we start to build our new Gen 6.

In this role, the candidate must be proactive and adaptable to the growing changes of the company and operational needs across all functions. This person will be able to work with the team on collaborating with new ideas and problem solving day to day events and challenges. Working closely with like minded team individuals which will encourage the different influences that they will be bringing to the table.

What you will do:

  • Assist in developing basis conceptual designs, final design, design criteria and estimates for all locations and various projects.
  • Provide maintenance support for all phases of the building's systems including material selections, equipment installations, and help to incorporate redline comments into record drawings.
  • Learn to troubleshoot minor HVAC, minor electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Assisting with financing, conducting research on potential investment, doing data entry work and completing property inspections and site visits.
  • Lease Management support for our growing portfolios.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Well-developed organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform tasks independently with limited supervision.
  • AutoCad a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer service oriented.
  • Excellent problem-solving and basic trouble-shooting ability required.
  • A strong candidate will ask questions, be self-motivated, have a strong initiative, and be passionate about working with and learning from others.

Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.

This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
