The successful candidate is currently enrolled in a BS or MS of Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field with ability to conduct high power (high voltage and high current) testing and knowledge of digital and analog circuits. In this role, the candidate must be self-motivated to embrace challenges and adapt quickly or propose changes needed to achieve early results in a timely fashion.

What you will do:

  • Lab testing of high powered (high voltage and high current) electronics and system integration
  • Writing/modifying codes for system level testing
  • DO-160 derisk testing
  • Collaborating with engineers from diverse fields


Required Skills/Experience:

  • A self-motivated, fast learner with a broad set of skills and never afraid of facing complex technical challenges
  • A solution oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset
  • A positive team player
  • A strong communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of digital and analog circuits
  • Knowledge of overcurrent protection test
  • Knowledge of inrush current measurement
  • Ability to write codes using python, Matlab and C/C++
  • Ability to use oscilloscope, electronic load, multi-meter, ammeter, power supply, etc.
  • Familiarity with high power (high voltage and high current) testing

Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.

This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Eligibility Requirements For US
Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
