We are looking for a Flight Test Instrumentation Senior Technician to join our team. The goal of an FTI Senior Technician at Wisk is to ensure that the flight test instrumentation on the aircraft is installed per engineering drawings, tested, maintained and operational. You will be part of the Flight test instrumentation team that designs, installs and maintains the instrumentation of the flight test vehicle.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Hollister office.
What you will do:
As part of the Flight test instrumentation organization, and deployed at the Final line and flight testing facility you will act as a Flight Test Instrumentation Senior Technician for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
You will take part in manufacturing and installation of aircraft instrumentation all across the aircraft(Wiring, mechanical install etc) .
You will support the integration, maintenance, operation, modification, and repair of the instrumentation on aircraft.
You will help support the fabrication and maintenance of the Data acquisition systems..
Requirements:
You will have relevant experience in the Aviation Industry. A minimum of 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience is required.
You have worked on aircraft, preferably in the electrical wiring or instrumentation
You have a strong and applied knowledge of complex assembly and installation processes, such as build record documentation, quality systems, and manufacturing execution systems
You are familiar with functional testing and non-conformity processes
You work well independently and in teams
You are fluent with mechanical and electrical assembly procedures

Pay range the company expects to pay: $44 - $52 per hour - The starting base rate within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
