As a US Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for...


Responsibilities:


  • Accurately processing payroll for employees across multiple countries.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of United States local and country specific tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring payroll tax compliance – managing federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
  • Monitor the ADP Smart Compliance tool for tax law changes, filing deadlines, balances, and registrations.
  • Managing quarterly and annual tax filings through audits and reporting reviews.
  • Assisting with any tax notices received by agencies.
  • Preparing and file payroll tax returns for local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Generating and reviewing payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee files.
  • Addressing and resolving more complex payroll-related inquiries.
  • Providing guidance on payroll and tax matters.
  • Utilizing payroll software to manage payroll processes.


What you already have...


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience in accounting, finance and / or Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of United States federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in ADP Global View and ADP Smart Compliance tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
