As a General Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for...


  • Supervising daily financial data entry in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and preparing and posting journal entries along with general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Supervising monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, making necessary adjustments to capture all financial activities and facilitating the Record to Report process by supplying detailed financial data for management review.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of general accounting & reporting analysts with 5-20 direct and indirect reports, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing insightful reports and conducting financial variance analysis to deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Reviewing financial reports that ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations while collaborating with various departments to integrate financial data and streamline processes.
  • Acting as the primary contact for statutory reporting, working closely with external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy, and assist in audit preparations by providing necessary data and reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize general accounting & reporting process
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant internal policy, accounting standards and regulations related to general accounting.


What you already have...


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  • 7 + years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting
  • 2 + years in a management role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • CPA designation
