Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain drawings and design/technical specifications for Rod Control or Position products.
  • Perform engineering calculations in support of design and analysis of Rod Control or Position products.
  • Compile technical documents/specifications for procurement/manufacturing of Rod Control or Position products.
  • Lead supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
  • Hands-on installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Develop and issue test documentation and perform testing on New Stanton testbed equipment.
  • Understand and lead interfaces with external engineering groups (Infrastructure, Equipment Qualifications, etc.).
  • Provide technical mentoring for team members.

Education: A bachelor’s in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar engineering discipline
Years of Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years
Skills & Competencies:
  • Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and design.
  • Knowledge of control theory.
  • Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • SolidWorks and Inventor experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, planning skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical writing ability.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Smooth English oral and written skill is required.

  • The background/experience for Rod Control and Position is preferred.
