Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Senior I&C PMS(Protection and Safety Monitoring System) Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of control logic and human-machine interface (HMI) software for nuclear safety systems. You’ll work with distributed I&C architecture and collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure robust and compliant software solutions.

  • Develop and maintain control logic and HMI software for I&C safety systems.
  • Create and manage software requirements, design documentation, and traceability.
  • Participate in code and documentation reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support integration, testing, and certification activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strong adherence to configuration management and documentation standards.
  • Travel to site to support site commissioning

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Automation control, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Years of Experience: 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably in regulated or safety-critical industries.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Instrument & Control system in power plant.
  • Control logic development (preferred: ABB AC160).
  • HMI development (preferred: Photon, SCADE).
  • RTOS knowledge (preferred: QNX, Green Hills).
  • PLC function block programming and C/C++.
  • Strong configuration management practices (e.g., Git, Subversion).
  • Requirements and documentation management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS).
  • CI/CD platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with the software development models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Smooth English in written and verbal.
  • Compliance of safety, environmental and quality policy
  • Strong ownership, teamwork and self-motivation are required.
