Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to supervise a team of 5-10 I&C engineers in Ovation areas; leading the software development, testing for complex projects.
  • Responsible for the effective operations of the team and ensures quality, safety, cost, performance, schedule are met.
  • Providing trained and qualified resources to implement projects.
  • Develop talent/skills for the team to meet business needs
  • Providing technical support for product development, project implementation, business development.
  • Efficient communication with other partners (PM/SCM/QA, etc.) in the project.
  • Ensure the performance of work activities in accordance with established Westinghouse procedures.
  • Routine and frequent communication with all levels of management.

Education Level:

B.S/M.S in I&C Engineering/Automation/ thermal energy and power engineering / Electrical Engineering/Computer Science

Years of Experience:

15+ years I&C experience in energy industry.

Professional Certifications:

CET-4 +

Skills and Competencies:

  • 15 years’ experience on DCS software/hardware design and implementation.
  • Has been in technical leader role to deliver a DCIS system with 30+ cabinets for multiple projects.
  • Rich Experience on Emerson Ovation platform.
  • Rich knowledge on design process control, quality control.
  • Knowledge on power plant equipment: pumps, valves, sensers. Understand the function of the power plant sub-systems.
  • Smooth English in written and verbal.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and/or external customers
  • Compliance of safety, environmental and quality policy
  • Strong ownership, teamwork and self-motivation is required.
