The Westinghouse Parts EMEA Commercial Integration & Non-OEM Sales Engineer (CI&SE) Engineer is responsible for developing moderately complex commercial offers for the Westinghouse Parts Business EMEA Region.
The EMEA CI&SE will be integrated in the Non-OEM PARTS and Equipment Qualification team located in Madrid. They will also work closely with the CI & Product Management teams to support the development of parts offerings and the sales team developing the offers and interacting with supply chain, legal and marketing to ensure commercial offerings are positioned accordingly to the market.
This is a REMOTE or MOBILE ROLE based in EMEA.


Duties and responsibilities:
Develop moderately challenging offers for the Westinghouse Parts Business EMEA Region including authoring:
  • Technical offers to meet our clients’ requirements with technical and commercial content
  • Succinct description of product being offered
  • Documenting key assumptions and limitations
  • Creative solutions to problems during offer development to meet deadlines
  • Minimizing, to the greatest extent possible, commercial risk on all offerings
  • Interpret customer requirements to ensure our offer meets the customer’s needs
  • Develop and align cost and lead time strategies with supply chain and WPB Fulfillment organizations
  • Develop and align on price strategies with WPB Sales and Product Management organizations and incorporating feedback into future offers to increase our win rate
  • Assist in process improvement projects to reduce the quote turnaround time, evaluate standard pricing levels, and other key initiatives
  • Develop knowledge to analyze offers to be able to make informed pricing recommendations for core and new business opportunities
  • Develop FOAK Non-OEM EMEA product offerings to support business growth objectives

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in engineering or business management
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering, business, or operations with increasingly progression and complexity and levels
  • Engineering skills, commercial effectiveness, change management and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, personable, business analysis skills, collaborative mindset, and inquisitive behavior.
  • Strong understanding of financials in general (relationship of sales, margin, and OE) and how develop commercial offers to positively impact margin/EBITDA.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear understanding of the inter-workings of the organization (procedures and processes) and how to navigate and ensure completion of the actions.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Strong use of technical and Microsoft D365 product suite.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with EMEA and U.S. stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate at higher levels.
