About the role:
As a Quality Engineering intern, you will apply engineering and Lean principles to continuous improvement projects.
You will report to the Quality Manager and be located at (our New Stanton location. This is a paid, full-time, onsite summer position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and integrate improvement projects which encompass departments using Lean and Continuous Improvement Tools and Methodologies
- Work with Principal Quality Engineers to monitor and document progress and implement changes
- Collaborate with departmental teams to gather data
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and contribute to problem-solving discussions
- Support special projects related to continuous improvement and data analysis as assigned by the Quality Manager
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related discipline
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete sophomore year of college
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
