About the role:

As a Radiation Engineering & Analysis Lead Engineer you will will act as a Technical Leader for offers and projects that focus on REA’s fluence and dosimetry businesses, you will contribute further to technology development and improvements, and will take team management & lead responsibility.

You will report to the Manager, Radiation Analysis Engineering and be located at Madrid, Spain. Hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead and primary contact for all radiation analysis support of decommissioning, radiation protection, operating plant safety analysis, and AP1000 projects,

  • Determine scope and schedule and provide cost inputs for offers,

  • Support resource planning for the above projects.

  • Lead the integration of new hires into REA and cross-training new hires in related groups (i.e. Waste Characterization, Decommissioning Planning).

  • Support the REA manager and RWMD director.

  • Occasional travel to industry meetings and/or to customer sites for short field work assignments may be required.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering required. With a preference for Nuclear Engineering or similar.

  • 10+ years applicable experience.

  • Proven engineering leadership as a Technical Leader or Project Manager.

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
