Your Day-to-Day:
- Support and lead activities associated with eVinci fuel component product development
- Lead and own the design for the eVinci fuel components including all materials and hardware residing within the fuel channel
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our eVinci fuel component products and act as subject matter expert in component testing, component qualification, design, and fabrication
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the eVinci fuel components in cross-disciplinary teams, developing all aspects of the fuel component hardware.
- This role interfaces with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including significant interactions with government and national labs, to ensure that fuel is available for eVinci testing and commercialization.
- Monitor contracted component suppliers for compliance to technical and quality requirements, in conjunction with supply chain management team
- Support fuel component testing and failure analysis, operational phenomena investigations, and component qualification and licensing efforts for the eVinci Microreactor
- Serve as a design and/or review team member on related reactor system project teams considering the integrated ricks and relations to eVinci fuel components and system
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree required, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, nuclear engineering or closely related field preferred
- Minimum 8 years of applicable experience required
- Fuel or components development or manufacturing experience required.
