About the role:
As a Deputy Project Director -Bulgaria, you will play a strategic role in the project's leadership structure that provides integration of multiple facets within the Bulgaria project wherein Westinghouse will build two AP1000s as Kozloduy 7&8.
You will report to the Sr Project Director - Bulgaria. This is a remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an immediate backup to the Project Director and support a team comprised of project management, licensing/permitting, engineering, procurement, construction support, quality, fuels, startup and commissioning, and operations and maintenance team members.
- Manage project specific project management processes to implement the Engineering Services Contract.
- Communicate directly with the customer to deliver periodic reporting, completion of deliverables, and ensure response to all customer requests.
- Work directly with the Consortium Partner, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, to support integration activities across the Engineering Services Contract, and the communication in support thereof.
- Liaison with the team to deliver an in-budget hybrid pricing environment which consists of both FIRM FIXED and TIME and MATERIALS workstreams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management (Master's degree helpful)
- 10+ years of experience in project management of large and complex projects (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction 'EPC' experience)
- High-level proficiency in project management
- Develop a network across teams including engineering, procurement, licensing, finance, project management, and HR
- 25% Travel Required
- Bulgarian language skills are not required
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $162,000 to $202,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
