About the role:

Reporting to the Production Manager. Work highly independently - not only mentoring engineers but also effectively leading a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks supporting equipment qualification. Provide oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members. Set day-to-day operational objectives for individuals or teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead technical training in critical product area(s).
  • Provide support / manager input to PFP reviews.
  • Lead Manufacturing programs and Global Manufacturing Expansion.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues, cost and schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Encourage technical excellence and rigor in the group’s work, including offering peer check opportunities.
  • Support manger in development of resources, including regular check-ins, review of TLDP progression, assignments for development, onboarding of new hires, etc.
  • Promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and Westinghouse’s strong Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as sub-contractors, partners, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
