About our Electric Advantage Program
We Mean Business Coalition and its network of partners is launching a new 4-year program – Electric Advantage - focused on accelerating the shift to electrified economies. Ultimately, our focus is on ensuring electrification becomes an imperative and aligning end-use electrification (for industry, transport, and building) and data center demand with clean power, grid readiness and economic strategy to ensure competitiveness, affordability, energy security and better livelihoods. This program will start with a global focus, with tailored work in the EU and India, while looking to expand further into other Asian countries starting 2027.

These interventions should be grounded in business needs and clearly define the opportunity, implementation approach, key partners, and pathways for scale. The consultant will work closely with the Manager, partners, and select businesses to develop and validate these interventions.
Regulatory & Policy Leadership:
- Identify policy and regulatory reforms that can remove barriers for businesses (large corporates & MSMEs) to adopt electrified solutions in the Indian context.

Business Engagement:
- Support targeted consultations (1-1s, small group discussions) with businesses to validate our Electric Advantage India strategy & sector level interventions for the India program.
- Identify opportunities for cross-company collaboration and sectoral partnerships that can accelerate electrification adoption in key sectors.
- Help identify and engage priority businesses, industry associations, and value chain actors relevant to industrial & transport electrification and in India.
- Help strengthen the Coalition’s direct relationships and credibility with businesses in India to support long-term engagement and implementation opportunities.
