Electrifying transport is critical for climate action, yet most fleets struggle with limited grid capacity and high energy costs. These barriers lead to the under-utilization of renewable energy and slow down the shift to sustainable mobility. Without intelligent management, charging large fleets can overload local grids and become prohibitively expensive.

RiDERgy offers a cloud-based platform that uses AI and predictive models to create optimal charging schedules. By integrating seamlessly with existing chargers, our software shifts charging to periods of abundant renewables and lower tariffs. This hardware-agnostic solution reduces energy costs by up to 80%, prevents grid overloads, and ensures vehicles are ready when needed—scaling from single depots to multi-site operations.

Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Full-Stack Developer (AWS)

Role Description: Join RiDERgy as a volunteer full-stack developer. Build and maintain new features on our web platform using AWS infrastructure. Work across front-end and back-end to integrate APIs, optimise performance, and ensure a seamless experience for users. Collaborate with our technical lead to deploy and monitor services on AWS.

Time Commitment: Volunteer 4-6 hours per week for 3-5 months remotely ?
