Sustainability Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the Group's sustainability strategy, governance framework, policies targets and action plans.
2. Lead the preparation of the Group's sustainability reporting and disclosures in accordance with Bursa Malaysia requirements, the National Sustainability Reporting Framework, IFRS S1 and S2, and other applicable standards.
3. Manage the collection, validation and reporting of sustainability, ESG data and key performance indicators, including the coordination of internal reviews and external assurance.
4. Support the Group's climate change and decarbonization initiates, including greenhouse gas inventory management, Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions, Net Zero planning and carbon reduction initiatives.
5. Work with business divisions and corporate functions to monitor sustainability performance, manage sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and implement environmental, social and sustainable supply chain initiatives.
6. Prepare sustainability updates and recommendations for Management, the Group Sustainability Committee and the Board Sustainability Committee, and coordinate stakeholder engagement and sustainability awareness programmes.
7. In collaboration with the head of department, lead and develop the sustainability team, manage departmental priorities, budgets, consultants and projects, and ensure the timely and effectively delivery of agreed outcomes.

Job Qualificatio

1. nBachelor in Sustainable Development, Environmental Management, Environmental Science or other relevant discipline
2. .Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in corporate sustainability, sustainability reporting, climate change, environmental management or a related field
3. .Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, managing projects and delivering results through others
4. .Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting requirements, IFRS S1, IFRS S2, GRI Standards and greenhouse gas accounting
5. .Experience in a listed company, construction, property development, real estate or infrastructure-related industry would be an advantage
6. .Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide team members and drive accountability for deliverables
7. .Strong analytical, report-writing and project management skills, with the ability to interpret sustainability data and deliver clear disclosures
8. .Effective communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
