About the Role


To support our rapid growth in Indoor Climate, we are looking for a Business Development & Sales Specialist focused on intelligent controls platforms and integrated system solutions for:

  • Underfloor heating
  • Ceiling-based heating and cooling systems
  • Heat interface units (HIUs)
  • Heat recovery ventilation (potentially)


In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving revenue by securing Wavin’s solutions are specified into projects early—and remain part of the project specification through to execution. You will engage key influencers across the value chain and collaborate with downstream sales colleagues to ensure project conversion.


This role covers all of Germany and is ideal for a home-office-based professional located near a major transport hub.



What You’ll Do


  • Drive profitable growth in Germany for intelligent indoor climate solutions, with a core focus on smart control platforms
  • Engage heating consultants, planners, architects, and investors to position Wavin at the early design phase
  • Secure project specifications and ensure Wavin’s solutions remain specified throughout the project cycle
  • Generate, qualify, and develop opportunities before passing them to the regional sales teams for closure
  • Build and maintain a strong project pipeline and document activities using CRM tools
  • Act as a key voice from the market, providing input to product management and innovation teams


What You Bring


  • Proven track record in selling intelligent controls platforms or integrated HVAC system solutions
  • Solid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, including underfloor and ceiling applications
  • Knowledge of heat interface units and ideally familiarity with heat recovery ventilation
  • 5+ years of experience in technical solution selling; background in engineering or technical sales preferred
  • Strong network among HVAC consultants, utilities, and project developers in Germany
  • High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong commercial acumen
  • Experienced in CRM usage, pipeline building, and project lifecycle management
  • Fluent in German and English
