WPS are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works in the County Durham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-profile project, ensuring delivery to time, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of planned SHDF works on site.
  • Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Oversee compliance and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and budget, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and maintain strong communication.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in social housing planned works – this is a must.
  • Strong site management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time.

Desirable

  • Experience with Solar PV panel installations (not essential but advantageous).
  • Familiarity with SHDF requirements and energy efficiency measures.
