Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future
- Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings;
- Report and act as the right hand of the Finance Manager;
- Implement process and system changes needed due to local statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation and digitalization;
- Facilitate and assist internal cross-functional teams regarding local regional topics;
- Coordinate shared service center department in period-end closing tasks;
- Prepare local regulatory reporting;
- Support business with ad-hoc reports and inquiries;
- Execute and coordinate local financial audits;
- Act as a partner for local management on statutory financial topics.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years experience in financial control.
- Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP;
- Understanding of the local statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Good understanding of Finance end to end processes and relevant technologies e.g., SAP (FI-CO, SD, MM), SAP Business Objects, Hyperion Planning;
- Database and reporting systems know-how is also seen as asset;
- Fluent written and spoken in English, Dutch preferred;
- You are a self starter, with a strong hands on and proactive mentality. You take ownership, you are resilient and you have a safety-oriented mindset.
