URGENT HIRING | Project Manager - Solar Energy Client

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage Solar Mini-Grid and Renewable Energy projects across multiple locations in Nigeria.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EPC project execution, contractor management, site operations, and end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of Solar Mini-Grid and Renewable Energy projects across multiple sites.
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, site teams, and project execution activities.
• Ensure project delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, and Commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify execution challenges, and implement recovery plans.
• Manage project costs, risks, variations, and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and quality requirements.
• Drive testing, commissioning, project completion, and final handover.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of overall experience in EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, or Energy projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar PV, BESS, Mini-Grid, or Renewable Energy projects.
• At least 3 years of relevant Project Management / Project Leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple project sites and EPC contractors.
• Strong understanding of project execution, cost control, contractor management, HSE, and commissioning.
• Experience in Nigeria, West Africa, or similar African markets will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Nigeria and travel frequently to project locations.
