Voltanova is building an AI-powered Energy Intelligence Platform to optimize how energy is generated, stored, purchased, and consumed across industrial energy systems.

We are looking for an ML Researcher to develop intelligent models combining:

Weather + Renewable Generation + Electricity Demand + Tariffs + Grid + Storage + Industrial Processes

What you’ll work on
  • Build advanced time-series forecasting models for energy demand, renewable generation, prices, and weather.
  • Develop AI-driven optimization and decision-making for energy storage and industrial energy systems.
  • Research Transformers, probabilistic forecasting, reinforcement learning, and physics-informed ML.
  • Build models that move from prediction → optimization → autonomous energy decisions.
  • Work closely with our energy and thermal engineering teams to incorporate real-world physical constraints.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong ML, statistics, and mathematical foundations.
  • Strong Python and experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX.
  • Experience with time-series forecasting, optimization, or reinforcement learning.
  • Prior experience in energy, power systems, climate, industrial systems, or storage is a strong advantage.
  • Strong research mindset and ability to independently solve complex problems.
